Philippines Partnership Project

Schools for Development and Peace – Caritas Canada partnered with Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools to support the community members in Tacloban as they persevered following the destruction rent by Typhoon Haiyan in 2013.

I was contracted by Development and Peace to design a set of resources to support the project including:

• An animated video to draw out context to students in the Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools District. Since these people, and the hardship they face is physically remote, it is necessary to convey what they are experiencing, and how it relates to them.
• Project Updates conveyed progress on Pope Francis Village as it progressed and students demonstrated international solidarity. 
• A certificate marking the completion of the Partnership Project
