Lesson Plans

I produced the identity for and templated a series of lesson plans that helped Alberta Educators integrate Catholic Social Justice Teaching into their curriculum for students. As a Development and Peace resource, the identity took on elements of the parent brand to heighten recognition such as the colour palette, and a magnified interpretation of the global ‘swoop’ in the header. 

The lesson plans were bilingual with subdivisions that followed the SEE/JUDGE/ACT method of critical reflection. Appendices provided access to helpful resources for teachers preparing for their lessons, such as copies of activities, assessment rubrics, cross-curricular connections with the Alberta Curriculum, handouts, teaching strategies, extension resources, and references.

This design challenge helped me develop the skills necessary to develop and maintain a hierarchy across large bodies of text throughout multiple deliverables.
